The biggest ever Skipton Great Santa Fun Run!

On Sunday 25th November 2012 the third annual Skipton Great Santa Fun Run took place. Despite an indifferent weather forecast 912 people took part almost 100 more than last year.

Towler & Staines Ltd helped with the free tea and coffee stall serving over 250 cups of tea or coffee during a very short time window showing the quality and efficiency of the Burco Dean Water Boilers used, powered by Calor Gas.

When the amount raised for charity is known another blog will appear on the subject.

Full marks to the Rotary Club of Skipton Craven for organising such a large and complex event so magnificently for the third year running!

At Towler & Staines Ltd we have previously stocked the European Design Award winning mobile Calor Gas heater in grey, orange and white models. Now we are delighted to announce the arrival of this funky heater in red. The striking red colour will enhance any contemporary home or indeed commercial premises.

The heater has 3 heat settings up to 4kW. It has electronic ignition a flame failure device and an oxygen depletion system to give maximum safety. On the low setting it has a burn time of 121 hours on a 15kg Calor Gas cylinder. Easily portable on castors to move to the areas where you need the warmth. For various reasons Calor Gas powered mini heaters have been unavailable in the marketplace for quite some time. However, Towler & Staines Ltd. are delighted to announce the arrival in stock of two excellent mini heaters from Lifestyle. Both can be powered by the 7kg Calor Gas cylinder.

The Lifestyle Mini Catalytic heater has variable heat settings up to 1.5kW, with automatic ignition.
The Lifestyle Mini Radiant heater has variable heat settings up to 2kW, with automatic ignition.
Both models have an Oxygen Depletion System and Flame Failure Device for maximum safety.

Lastly we leave you a card with our details so you can arrange for us to deliver and connect another cylinder when your cylinder is empty.
