Towler & Staines Limited will be exhibiting at three major Motorcaravan and Caravan Shows in 2013.
The first is a new indoor show: The Great Yorkshire Motorhome and Caravan Show, held at the Great Yorkshire Showground on Ripon Road, Harrogate, North Yorkshire. This is a day visitor event from 22nd to 24th March 2013. It is bound to be a great day out!

Beauclaire to be featured on Calor Stand at NEC

Towler & Staines Ltd. the UK Agents for the Beauclaire Outdoor Cooking System are pleased to announce that the product will be featured on the Calor Gas Stand at the forthcoming Spring Caravan and Camping Show at the NEC, Birmingham.

The show is from the 19th until 24th February 2013 and will feature all the new caravan and motorhome models for the 2013 season. A large range of Caravan Accessories and Outdoor Leisure Equipment will also be featured. Guest celebrities from TV programmes about the great outdoors will be Andy Torbet, Valentine Warner, Kate Humble, Nick Baker and Julia Bradbury.

Calor Heater as emergency back up

This last very snowy weekend our neighbour had a gas boiler breakdown but despite having the best British Gas service contract all was not well. The engineer fought his way through the snow to attend and thought he had repaired it when he left. Within an hour it was giving trouble again and so we lent our neighbour a Calor Gas radiant cabinet heater to keep them warm as the engineer was not able to return until the following day.

It occurs to me that houses that are totally dependent upon a boiler for heating may have a breakdown risk which could be during extremely cold weather. Perhaps a Calor Gas cabinet heater would be a good idea as a back up heat source in case of emergency.
