The Great Skipton Santa Fun Run

Towler & Staines Ltd. already have entry forms for collection and completion for the Great Skipton Santa Fun Run which takes place on Sunday 25th November 2012. So call as soon as you can and sign up for this year, there were over 800 runners last year and we are hoping to top 1,000 this year.

The pallet loads of Santa Suits are due to be delivered to Towler & Staines Ltd. Keighley Branch on week commencing 17th September.

The run is for people of all ages (over 8 years) and ability  on a 5km. circular route route around Skipton. Run, jog, or walk: all are welcome. The event objectives are to enable participants to have fun whilst contributing to charities and good causes. It is organised by the Rotary Club of Skipton Craven.

Entry donations are £10 for Adults,£5 for Children (8 to 16 years). You receive a FREE Santa Suit, hat and beard and a commemorative medal on completion of the event. Teams of 8 @ £8 for each adult and £4 for each child.

At the end you will also receive a FREE mince pie and tea or coffee from a Calor Gas powered tea urn supplied by Towler & Staines Ltd.

Last year over £17,000 was raised for such charities as Manorlands Hospice, Martin House Children's Hospice, Yorkshire Cancer Research, Yorkshire Dales Fell Rescue and Rotary Charities.
