Does Calor Gas "go off ", losing effectiveness with the passage of time? We have the answer.

Another frequently asked question at the Calor Gas Principal Dealer Towler & Staines  in Bradford and Keighley ,West Yorkshire is "does Calor Gas go off", losing its effectiveness as time passes.

The answer is that Calor Gas which is liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) presented as butane in blue bottles, propane in red bottles and Patio Gas in green bottles with a red top does not deteriorate with age.

It is important that cylinders are stored in an upright position for safety reasons. Also, butane (blue) cylinders can be stored indoors provided you have no more than 4 x 15kg cylinders. Propane and Patio Gas must be stored outdoors.
