It is estimated that overall the event raised £29,000. The Rotary Club itself raised over £12,000 and recently gave cheques to the Yorkshire Dales Society, Manorlands Hospice, Martin House Childrens Hospice and STEPS Charity for people with limb abnormality. The other funds making up the total have been paid over by the participants to the good cause they were supporting.
Towler & Staines Ltd. provided the Calor Gas powered catering equipment so that participants could enjoy a well earned cuppa after their exertions!
