It is now officially autumn and it is time for us to prepare our caravans and motorhomes for the winter months. First and foremost it is most important to properly drain your water heater to avoid frost damage. We know from experience that even a tiny drop of water when frozen can seriously damage a water heater. One tip is to use a hair drier to dry up any remaining droplets.
Another tip when leaving the caravan or motorhome for the winter is to install some sort of dehumidifier to combat damp, condensation and mold.
