Some other ways to keep warm this winter.

My last blog dealt with propane powered blown air heating for larger areas, but there is another alternative for commercial premises, garages and warehouses. Radiant heat from portable fires can often be the answer.

The Bullfinch Trolley Heater offers localised heat where you need it. If an operative is working in a large area with a number of locations to carry out his job, the Trolley Heater can be wheeled around with him from place to place. It has large wheels for ease of movement and adjustable height for radiant panels between 1460 and 1750mm. There are 2 plaques: 1 gives 2.8kW and both give 5.6kW.

There are 2 portable site heaters available: the Lifestyle Portable Site Heater is a radiant heater giving 4.4kW supplied with 2 metres of hose and regulator, piezo ignition, a flame failure device and an oxygen depletion device to allow indoor use. The other is the Bullfinch 1200HL Superglow which has a low centre of gravity for extra stability, flame failure device and oxygen depletion system to enable indoor use, with adjustable heat outputs from 2.2 to 3.7kW.

All these items are available from Towler & Staines the Calor Gas Principal Dealer in Keighley and Bradford.
