Broil King is a quality brand of barbecue which has been stocked by Towler & Staines for over 30 years. Indeed a friend of mine can report that he has had his Broil King Gem for over 25 years and it is still giving great results. It did need a new burner after 14 years but that is all. The great advantage of this brand is that spares are always readily available. It is truly a barbecue for life!

The two Broil King barbecues on offer are the Gem at £229.99 and the Gem 40 Pedestal at £259.99 normally sold at £299.99. These barbecues have the following features:

• An 8.8kW stainless steel dual burner.
• A deluxe AccuTemp probe thermostat
• A 1600 square centimetre cooking grid which is porcelain coated.
• A 1200 square centimetre chrome warming rack.
• Permamold drop down side shelves.
• Flav R Wave heat distribution system to give even cooking, protect the burner and vaporise drips to enhance flavour.
