The early approach of Autumn makes one think about preparing for winter and in particular keeping warm. This contemporary heater has unique "easy click" bottle connection, using the Cube Gas bottle. Towler & Staines will be exhibiting at the Motorhome Show Season Finale at Lincoln Showground.

Towler & Staines the Calor Gas Principal Dealer in Keighley and Bradford will be exhibiting their wares again at the Motorhome Show Season Finale at the Lincolnshire Showground (LN2 2NA) on 22nd to 24th September 2017. The show will have more than 200 exhibitors on site and has a best of British theme. Entertainment this year features Les McKeown' Bay City Rollers, Slade and Badness.

New on the Towler & Staines stand this year will be the Sabre LINK 150 Awning and Tent Lighting System which is available as a Starter Kit or an Add On kit.Up to three lights can link together, with brightness adjustments and remote control. SabreLINK 150 Starter Kit

The 6kg Calor Lite Cylinder changes announced.

Calor Gas Ltd. have announced that they will no longer be investing in new stock of the 6kg Lite Cylinder. Apparently the demand for the standard 6kg Calor Propane cylinder continues to grow and the company have decided to make an investment in this cylinder of over £1 million this year.

The existing 6kg Calor Lite demand will be serviced using current cylinder stocks, although without new cylinders availability will be limited. Standard 6kg cylinders may be supplied on a free exchange if stocks of the Lite are not available.

The recall of 6kg Calor Lite cylinders manufactured between 2008 and 2011 is now closed. However, vouchers issued to customers during this will still be honoured. If the Lite is unavailable the standard 6kg refill will be offered.

Calor are currently undertaking market research with the aim of launching a new leisure / caravan cylinder designed with a number of consumer benefits in mind. In particular the weight of the new cylinder will be foremost in their development plan.

Calor Patio Gas is ideal for barbecues and patio heaters. The 13kg cylinder is used for patio heaters and barbecues with 4 burners or more and the 5kg for all other barbecues.

Calor Butane comes in 4 sizes: 4.5kg, 7kg, 12kg and 15kg. The last 3 are used for powering mobile cabinet heaters whereas the 4.5kg and the 7kg are also used by campers, and caravanners. Calor Butane is the only bottled gas (LPG) which can be used indoors.

Calor Propane comes in 5 sizes: 3.9kg, 6kg, 13kg, 19kg, or 47kg. The 3.9kg is ideal for roofers, blowlamp or weed burner users but can also be used for camping. The 6kg is popular with caravanners because it will work in freezing conditions where butane may not. The 13kg is suitable for greenhouse heaters or catering vans. The 19kg and 47kg cylinders are ideal for larger installations for catering or central heating.

Calor Automotive for fork lift trucks is available in 12kg and 18kg sizes.

Air Liquide Drinks Dispense Gas is also available: CO2 6.35kg is used for soft drinks and some beers and mixed gas 30/70 and 60/40 in 10 litre cylinders for the creamy head on beers.Most of this gas is supplied to the licensed trade but home brew enthusiasts who want to use them are welcome.
